A fast rap with many syllables can drift by a syllable; a clip with clear vocals and a steady beat syncs best.
Can two pets sing or rap together as a duet?
Yes. Add a second photo and the two pets share the clip: the pet in photo 1 sings the first line on the left while the other listens, the pet in photo 2 answers with the next line on the right, and they sing the last line together. With your own song they take turns on its vocals. Each keeps its own looks; a dog and a cat work too.
Use photos with similar light and framing, one animal in each. Two pets in one photo do not work: crop each into its own photo first.
How long can the song be, and how many words fit?
Videos are 5, 10 or 15 seconds. An uploaded song must be 2 to 15 seconds long (the site measures it from the file), and the length moves up to fit it. Typed words can be up to 160 characters and are sung in order, so keep them short for 5 seconds.

Why does my pet’s mouth fall out of sync, and how do I fix it?
Most sync problems come from a mouth the model cannot see or a song with too many fast syllables. Use a front-facing photo where the mouth and nose are clear, and a song clip with clear vocals and a steady beat. A finished video cannot be re-timed; making it again costs the credits again, so fix the photo and the song first.
